Zambia Medical Mission
I have been thinking alot this morning about the Zambia Medical Mission coming up this summer. We went on this trip about 4 years ago. The pictures below are of that summer trip. The boys and I were blessed to be able to go and help out. We all wanted to go this summer but the cost of the trip has gone up so much that we cannot handle paying for it. Anyway, Mom and Dad are going and I pray it will be a wonderful, safe and successful trip. This medical mission goes into the bush in Zambia and works out of Namwianga Mission. It was a life changing trip for all of us especially Will. He now has great interest in being a vocational missionary in Africa. I pray that he will be able to see that goal through. Here are some memories from our trip and be sure to watch the video at the bottom of the pictures. It is very precious to us.

In a little over one week thousands and thousands of Zambians are given medical care, but more importantly, are given the chance to hear the good news of Jesus Christ and His offer of Salvation.

Dad always works in the wound care room. I don't know how he does it. The things you see in that room require a strong stomach and very big heart.
A meal being fixed for our group. I could talk for days about a million wonderful things that happened on this trip, but I won't do that to you. I will just say that if you ever have a chance to go on any kind of mission trip. Do it! What a great view of how we are connected with other Christians and how incredibly blessed we are.

This video below was taken on the long 6 hour trip out into the bush. There were a few sweet Zambian Christian nurses that helped on the medical mission and this is of them singing to us. It was a beautiful song. The words go something like "There's no one, there's no one like Him" that you can search the world over and there is no one like Jesus. So true and so comforting.
