Overload...and lookin forward to summer

Good morning. I don't know if it was the hard and busy weekend or the constant wind and dust, but I woke up this morning with a headache that was a rough one.
It hurt so bad that I was hanging over the toilet rim for several hours. Yuck. Even the light still hurts my eyes and it is afternoon. Anyway, I don't know what a migraine feels like but I think I might have had one.

We are beginning to feel the true fatigue of Sid trying to finish his doctorate and start a new job at the same time, plus LTC practice and Track meets and all of the endless little things having to do with Will graduating and leaving. (FAFSA, scholarship applic., NCAA paperwork, etc.) I am also taking care of the church website and we had ladies day last Sat. I know that life is busy at this stage that we are in, but really now, we need a breather.

We are all planning on sitting down and watching the Final basketball game tonight together. That will be fun. Go Michigan State!

Sid and I did find 30 minutes to go walk last night (brr.....) and coming back down our street we were blessed with an incredible wood smoke in the wind moment. Someone was burning pine wood in their fireplace and it smelled heavenly. We looked at each other and said, "Oh...let's go to Ruidoso!" (I changed the music on here because of that smell in the wind yesterday. I could not find Michael Martin Murphey's "Woodsmoke in the Wind" song, but these two will do. Love his music. Always have, always will. )
We are all ready for some time off.
I hope that your Monday is going great and you get a whiff of woodsmoke in the wind today.

The pictures below are of two of the most beautiful places in the world to us. Physically and emotionally. Camp Blue Haven ...the last two pictures ( A little taste of what heaven will be like), and the first two are of Red River, New Mexico.
We go up to the Red River Family Encampment in June every summer. It is a great blessing and family reunion time.
I am just doing a little summer dreaming.

Oh, I am so sorry you had a migrain (yes, I am pretty sure that is what you were suffering from). I suffer from them on a regular basis and would not wish that type of pain on anyone. I pray daily that my kids have not inherited that from me. Hope you feel better soon.
