She's There...

Phil. 3:20&21
But our citizenship is in heaven. And we eagerly await a Savior from there, the Lord Jesus Christ, who, by the power that enables him to bring everything under his control, will transform our lowly bodies so that they will be like his glorious body.

JoAnn Walker went into the arms of Jesus last night. Sid's Mom has been a light in this dark world to so many people. There are not enough words to describe how she has furthered the Kingdom for God and for how she has touched and loved so many.

How do you put a person's life into words? You can't. JoAnn is our first parent to loose. I woke up this morning thinking that something was missing. To not have this lovely person on earth anymore cheering us on and encouraging us is really hard and well, strange. She is woven so tightly into our hearts and the fabric of our lives. But, the beauty of in the midst of sadness is that we will continue to live growing closer to our God because of her guidance and love and her total tunnel vision of living to glorify God. In every conversation and every card that I can ever remember, she always brought the thoughts and words around to God and how awesome He is and how we can better live to serve Him.

I thank you God for my mother in law JoAnn. Oh, how she has made Your footprints on my heart a lot bigger. One of the last things she told us at Thanksgiving was that she would be waiting for us in heaven. She had one of the most beautiful smiles God ever gave to anyone. I can't wait to see it again.
I love you JoAnn and I will miss you.

Praise be to the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ! In his great mercy he has given us new birth into a living hope through the resurrection of Jesus Christ from the dead, and into an inheritance that can never perish, spoil or fade—kept in heaven for you, who through faith are shielded by God's power until the coming of the salvation that is ready to be revealed in the last time. In this you greatly rejoice, though now for a little while you may have had to suffer grief in all kinds of trials. These have come so that your faith—of greater worth than gold, which perishes even though refined by fire—may be proved genuine and may result in praise, glory and honor when Jesus Christ is revealed. Though you have not seen him, you love him; and even though you do not see him now, you believe in him and are filled with an inexpressible and glorious joy, for you are receiving the goal of your faith, the salvation of your souls.
1 Peter 1:3-9
JoAnn could not see Him with her eyes, but she did see Him vividly with her heart and loved Him fully with great inexpressible joy. Blessings. Amy
