Oil Painting...

I used to. It seems like a lifetime ago. When the boys were young I took lessons and I won't kid myself, I am just way average at painting, but I sure enjoyed it. I took lessons in Amarillo, Texas with Jan's Mom, Billie. It was a special time that I cherish.

Maybe someday...when this empty nest thing starts up I might take it up again. Here are a few that I finished. My favorites of course are the ones of the boys. They were both about three years old in their paintings. Love.

1 John 3:1-2
How great is the love the Father has lavished on us, that we should be called children of God! And that is what we are! The reason the world does not know us is that it did not know Him. Dear friends, now we are children of God, and what we will be has not yet been made known. But we know that when He appears,we shall be like him, for we shall see Him as he is.

Big Bend National Park

Love old Red Barns.
