Do Not Fear...

Isaiah 43:1-3
But now, this is what the LORD says—
he who created you, Jacob,
he who formed you, Israel:
Do not fear, for I have redeemed you;
I have summoned you by name; you are mine.
When you pass through the waters,
I will be with you;
and when you pass through the rivers,
they will not sweep over you.
When you walk through the fire,
you will not be burned;
the flames will not set you ablaze.
For I am the LORD your God,
the Holy One of Israel, your Savior;

"Thank you Father, God for your promises and your comfort."
My heart is heavy today and a little fearful but also comforted and starting to feel peaceful. I ask for your prayers for our youngest. The pictures below are at his football banquet last Sat.

We are praying and concerned about a health issue with Wes.

I guess it is human nature to jump to the worse case scenario, but I don't really want to do that. We are asking God's blessings that it will be something easy to treat and not life threatening. Having said that, it will be what it will be and we will with the Good Lord's help walk peacefully through each day and whatever it brings. I pray that whatever we all have to deal with in life we will walk in faith and joy and Glorify Him in it.

We also got word last night of a dear sweet friend of ours that is Will's age who is having surgery this morning on a tumor in one of her her lungs.
She is a precious, beautiful child of God. I ask your prayers for sweet Jocelyn.

Life can change so swiftly. I take the calm, good, non threatening times for granted. I've had the thought this morning as scriptures have entered my mind that when it is calm and well...in normal everyday days that it is good to lay the word of God on your heart and mind. You then have the blessing of the Spirit bringing words of comfort to mind during hard times. So, as you pray today if you are praying people and I hope that you are, please say a little prayer for our gentle giant. Pray for peace and that God will increase our faith and our joy. Please pray that he is well and we will get good results about this health concern. Thank you friends.

Blessings! Amy

As we can learn from the story of Job in the Bible.... He gives and he takes away, but our hearts must choose to say, "Blessed be the name of Jehovah" You guys will be in my thoughts and prayers.
