Walker Christmas Fun...Happy New Year

Good morning. We managed to stay up until 11:30 last night and then just decided that it was silly to stay up any later. :)

We LOVED having Sid's family here for a Christmas visit last week. What a blessing it has been to have had fellowship time with both sides of our family.

I am starting my new Yearly Bible this morning and it has been such a precious time reading and listening to God this morning. I look forward to visiting with Him every morning of this coming year. What a blessing to have the word of God at our fingertips.

Such a large crowd of witnesses is all around us! So we must get rid of everything that slows us down, especially the sin that just won't let go.

And we must be determined to run the race that is ahead of us. Hebrews 12:1

Boys everywhere! Our boys loved being with their cousins. We needed our little girl cousin in this picture...where were you McClain? Sure did miss Brazos, Charlie and Abigail.

Another timed family picture! Sid is back there hiding because he applied a dermatologist face treatment over the holidays.
He looked REALLY sunburned. The skin on his face hurt SO bad.

Christmas presents

Lots of Lego creations were imagined and built out of this big box of Legos

Many domino and 42 games were played and enjoyed

Sweet mama and son

Wes had a basketball tournament here during this Christmas visit. I think we saw 6 games in three days. I am about basket balled out. Well...until Tuesday.
Father and Son. Notice the maroon! These two bleed maroon. Whoop!
Blessings on this first day of a new year!
Praying for all my blogger friends and loved ones.
Let us seek His face with all of our heart's this year.
Love, Amy

Love the big pots on the stove! Nothing says family get together quite like it! :)
What great pics of a great time!

Which bible are you using? I am switching to another devotional for the year. I'm always curious what others use.

Hope you've had a great first day of 2011.
Talk soon.
Thanks for the info! and so FAST! LOL

I'll have to look into that...that may be a new purchase for 2011.
