Blue Bell & B and B...

We had a lovely time last weekend in Brenham, Texas.

We rested and walked and ate...

(Blue Bell mostly, with a good steak thrown in there on Sat. night).

We stayed in this old house called The Far View Inn.

Kind of old and spooky and cool.

The pictures are not so great because it was overcast all weekend except for several seconds of sunshine every now and then
Nice cozy room
We were up early even on a day we did not have to be. That is what happens as you get older I think. We both got a cup of coffee and were enjoying our daily bibles when the sun shot through the door for a few seconds.
Of course I always have my camera with me so I could not resist this shot.
Wes drew this wonderful little picture one day in church a long time ago. I keep it in my bible as marker. Reminds me that he loves Jesus.

Coffee anyone?

Blue Bell Creamery...
Pure yummy goodness. One dollar a cup. Can't beat that.
This man loves his Blue Bell.
I am so blessed to be married to Sid. Laughter in abundance.
Scripture for today:
Ps. 100:1-2
Shout for joy to the Lord all the earth!
Worship the Lord with gladness; come before Him with joyful songs.
Blessings! Amy

Hey lady! I usually keep my sound off when surfing blogs because everyone's music gets mixed up. I went directly to your sight tonight and got to thumb through you playlist. I LOVE it. I plan to down load many of the songs for my itunes account so I can have them on my phone! Also, for the last 4 weeks of school my 4th graders study a famous Texan. This year we extended the "people" to not only historical figures, but more recent ones. On of my little boys chose Colt. As part of the project he has to make a replica of Colt ou of a 2 liter soda bottle. I think it will be quite comical for you to see. As we wrap up the projects, I'll have to send you a picture. I appreciate your inspirational posts. I don't always comment and if I miss reading it for a while, I always catch back up. Thanks for being you.
