Graduation...

Tonight is this little boy's graduation from high school...

He will put on this cap and gown and walk across that stage and say goodbye to his childhood.
I am thrilled for him and we are looking forward to the next chapter in his life.
My heart is feeling a little achy but I am trying to ignore it.
I figure I can dwell on it later. Today is not a day for crying, but a day for being joyful and celebration!
God has great things planned for this boy.
I can't wait to watch his life play out through God's orchestration.
Once again Wes...this verse comes to mind.
Psalm 119:11
How can a young man keep his way pure?
By living according to Your word.
I seek You with all my heart;
do not let me stray from Your commands.
I have hidden your word in my heart
that I might not sin against You.
We love you little one. Blessings.

Amy,
You are right, it is a day for celebrating and for joy...but I always find it impossible at graduation time not to get a little choked up, even when they are not my own. I have not yet had my two leave the nest, but we will all have to help each get through it!
