To Africa...

About six years ago our boys and I went on a trip to Zambia with my Mom and Dad and a big group from Abilene. Today, this team is leaving again for Africa to bless and help the people in Zambia. My sister-in-law Shawna and her son McKinnon are going this year. Also, Molly and Debbie McCoy are going back this year. This team goes into the bush to give medical care and to spread the word of God to the Zambian people. What a great blessing this mission trip was to our family. Will's heart was really changed and moved toward wanting his life work to be on the mission field. We will see how it all unfolds. How fun it is too watch our children grow and move closer to God and finding their paths. I am so thankful God blessed us to have this experience.

Neat experience! YOur kids will never forget it.

I have a picture of your dad posted. We had a neat visit. He kept looking for a song where you had the lead. When I went over to another table for awhile he came and got me and said, "I found one you have to listen to." It was great.

Hello! I am coming out of blog stalking to tell you we have yet another thing in common aside from Blue Haven! I have some dear friends who are leaving for the Zambia Medical Mission today! The team is in our prayers!
How awesome...our first born went on a month mission trip to Africa ten years ago...I keep thinking God will allow me to go one day also. We have a lot of work going on in Sudan through our church...they celebrate their independence on the 9th! How awesome to see others work in this country. Thanks for sharing...I am sending it to my son who went 10 years ago.
Blessings to you all and yes, what a joy to see our children walk in the callings God has on their lives.
