Tired...

See that plastered on smile and tired face?
That's me right now.
Well, the picture is from last night.
I wanted a picture to send to my Mom
of the Hydrangea's so we snapped it.
We were headed in to Wed. night services
last night after packing all day
and knowing we would be telling friends goodbye.
That is the reason for the plastered on smile.

Even if where and what you are moving to is really
great it is always hard to say goodbye.
Not a fan of goodbye's.

I am comforted though that my brother's
and sister's in Christ and I will never really have to say goodbye.

Just a see you later will do.

There is always a possibility of course that we won't meet again on this earth. We have no guarantees of even our next moment in time and that is ok. I have butterflies and am thrilled thinking about the reunion in heaven with friends and family. Awesome to think about. What a grand time it will be.

I LOVE these scriptures about heaven:

Matt. 25:31-34
"The Son of Man will come again in his great glory, with all his angels. He will be King and sit on his great throne.  All the nations of the world will be gathered before him, and he will separate them into two groups as a shepherd separates the sheep from the goats. The Son of Man will put the sheep on his right and the goats on his left.
"Then the King will say to the people on his right, 'Come, my Father has given you his blessing. Receive the kingdom God has prepared for you since the world was made.

Philippians 3:20

But our citizenship is in heaven. And we eagerly await a Savior from there, the Lord Jesus Christ,

I Thess. 4: 16-17
For the Lord himself will come down from heaven, with a loud command, with the voice of the archangel and with the trumpet call of God, and the dead in Christ will rise first.   After that, we who are still alive and are left will be caught up together with them in the clouds to meet the Lord in the air. And so we will be with the Lord forever.

I don't think that we think enough about our future home. I think if we pondered it more and planned it out like we dream about a beautiful vacation  that we would look forward to it more. Having friends and family already there makes me look even more forward to it. Sorry this is a rather somber post.  Sometimes life is just a little hard and somber. That is ok too.

We would covet your prayers for strength to leave and say goodbye to friends that we love and also a special prayer for our oldest son. He has come down with mono. and is not a happy or feeling good camper. Actually he is supposed to be a camp counselor this summer up in New Mexico, leaving in a few weeks. He really needs to feel better.
Thank you for your prayers.
Blessings on your day. Heaven. Let's think about it more.
 Love, Amy
