Secret Garden Spots...

Don't you love to find new, lovely, peaceful and enchanting places to visit?
God has been blessing me with new friendships. I took a drive out to this lovely whimsical place a few days ago with a couple of sweet women.  It had little garden areas and a wonderful little tea room with delicious food and yummy fall spiced tea.  Enchanting and restful. Isn't this fountain/waterfall wonderful?
New friends are a blessing. God is good. Aren't they beautiful?
Proverbs 27: 6 &17

Wounds from a friend can be trusted.
But an enemy kisses you many times.
As iron sharpens iron,
so one person sharpens another.

Don't you love friends that are honest and real? One's that you don't have to guess what they are thinking or tip toe around with your words? How refreshing it is to find friends that you can be real with.

Proverbs 17:17
A friend loves you all the time,

and a brother helps in time of trouble.

As we all strive to live like Jesus we become better friends to those around us.  I pray we can all have open eyes to see the needs of the people God puts in our paths. To see that life is about loving God, which teaches us to love people and to put ourselves last. Weird, how that sounds like it will not make us happy, but it is the path to true happiness.
There is such joy in that order. I am working on it. A lot of the time it is not easy for me.
God. Other People. Myself.

Blessings on your day! Amy

Great use of those Proverbs (which I am partial to).

Neat photos of your college kids. Our college kid is spending the semester in Italy with Harding. Loooooong way off.

Hope all is going well. wb
