Memory Coffee Mug Rack...

Good morning! I finally got around to a little craft project that I have been wanting to work on. As you can see below our house is not in style right now and possibly will never be. I think the going look to decorate with is all white and crisp and well...white everything. Not happening.  I. LOVE. COLOR. It makes me cheerful and I LOVE cheerful. :)  So, I guess we have more of a coffee shop, country, garage sale, eclectic, lived in look in our home.

This window was one found at a work site that our youngest gentle giant was cleaning up last year. He knows to keep such great nuggets of beauty for his mama. Thanks boy!  So, I just wire brushed the paint off, drilled holes and added World Market pulls to hang the mugs on. Waa laa.

These mugs hanging have such sentimental meaning to me. I am going to love seeing them and remembering great times and great people. All are special in this pic below but especially the little peace mug. My mother in law gave me a set of the fruits of the Spirit mugs a long time ago. This is one of them. Beautiful. The green one is close to my heart also. This was one of a set that hung above the sink in our house where I grew up. We each had our own color cup. Lots of love in those little mugs. The Indian Lodge mug is from the Davis Mountain State Park. Numerous spring break trips with our boys were spent in that area and in Big Bend National Park camping and enjoying life together.
If you are still reading I am sure that you are a mug collector also. Thank you. The Java Jack's mug is from our favorite coffee shop in Nacogdoches, Tx. Many a good cup of coffee was shared there with friends.  The Yosemite mug is precious because it takes me back to summer after summer of going and singing at the Yosemite Family Encampment growing up. One of the most beautiful places on the planet. The Blue Haven mug is probably the most important. Our lives and the lives of our children have been molded and touched for good by God having been associated with this camp that feels like a little taste of what heaven will be like. The last is the Aggie Mom mug. What more is there to say? The best university of ANY in the country.
This last one is a random little mug someone gave us when we were first married. It has seen lots of water under the bridge. Oh, if this mug could talk.
The daily Bible reading adventure was rich today!
Have a great Friday and weekend!
Let's spend our time today praising Him and looking for ways to glorify Him.
Let's ASK Him how He can use us!

Love the mugs! I almost complimented your moose mug. It's a bear! I need new glasses.
