Everyday Blessings...

Life is finally slowing down just a little bit. Thank goodness. It needs to. The scripture above really was speaking loud to me this morning. Thankful for how God sustains us. I also saw this quote from Bob Goff this morning and it really hit me hard. It is so true. "Jesus isn't going to try to speak over the noise in our lives; He won't compete for our attention." I think He waits on us. He is always waiting. Think of what we could be doing for the Kingdom if we were only more focused on putting Him first and being blessed by His leading everyday . That last sentence was specifically for me. By the way, amid all of the angst and worry over the supreme court decision on marriage, I came across this blog post below. Spot on for me. Hello! It's been a month since I have been able to sit down for even a few minutes and think past all we have had going on to blog. So...I will tell you all about our changes which included finding and updating (a little) a different house and actually moving again into that different house. Whew... plus a lot more. The picture above is of a spot in this new kitchen that I have claimed as my own study, coffee drinking, reading, whatever spot. I happen to really like it. The table came from a used furniture store and little chalkboard that is so sweet from Kirklands. The old salt and pepper chicken shakers were giving to me by my grandfather when I was about 12. Not sure why he would want to give me chicken salt and pepper shakers but I love them.  Talk to you soon, but I will leave these awesome words with you...
