Best Monday of the Summer...

Our boys are home!  What a happy day. Obviously our oldest was not ready for a picture yet. By the way, Sponge Bob is what he is watching. They never outgrow cartoons, right?
We have had lots of good coffee and conversation this morning. Thankful.
Pics of crazy people from CBH...
Well, this one is not so crazy. Kinda cute...
Wes and Ben. There are no words.
Thankful they spent the summer together strengthening their cousin bond...
Love, love, love these girls and little Ben. The cooks at camp are the best!
We are settling in and now starting to work on mounds, and I do mean mounds of laundry.
Here is a thought that I have been pondering and want to talk to you about very soon.

A friend and I were talking about the fact that:
We spend more time praying over the dying "saved" (aren't we all dying after all?), than we do over the dying "lost". Shouldn't it be the other way around?
The saved have hope. The lost have none even if they don't know they are lost.
God knows how we love our family and friends that are sick and are near their exit in life.
I know He hurts with us.  But, I wonder if He wants us to see a bigger picture...
I will be back after a great time of fellowship with these boys and doing laundry for days. :)
Blessings. Amy

Handsome, handsome boys there. And gorgeous girls.

You're exactly right! We need to be concerned about the dying saved, but frantic about the dying lost. Glad you pointed that out, Amy! Good reminder! Enjoy your menfolk!

What a beautiful Monday. Happy for you! You are so right about our prayer life. One of my dearest friends, an elder at our church, wrote a book about his family's experiences in Vietnam, on the mission field. What hit me over and over was almost every chapter he mentioned his love for the lost. Really helped change my perspective.

Cool pics!

Good point about our prayers over the dying saved and the dying lost. Don't know if I've thought of it like that. Thanks.

I have not even thought about the dying saved/dying lost. You have me thinking...;)
