We Are Still Here...

Isaiah 6:3
In the year that King Uzziah died, I saw the Lord, high and exalted, seated on a throne; and the train of his robe filled the temple. Above him were seraphim, each with six wings: With two wings they covered their faces, with two they covered their feet, and with two they were flying. And they were calling to one another:
“Holy, holy, holy is the Lord Almighty; the whole earth is full of his glory.”

Good morning!
The picture above was taken on top of Johnson's Mesa in early August.
It was early August that I last updated this blog.
Whew. What has been going on you ask?
Fast and furious, wonderful life.
My husband walked through the kitchen last night and told me that my last blog was written (I say written very loosely) around August 5th. Wow. I was blown out of the water with the realization that number one it had been that long and number two that he knew how long it had been. Thanks honey!

I just want to give a hardy shout out to this group of college students- they gave their summer to spread the good news of Jesus to hundreds of elementary, junior high and high school campers.  They did not sleep much, worked through illness and irritation and well, everything to bless campers. You guys are wonderful! Thank you for loving your campers and giving them a better taste of what life can be like if you live for Jesus!
The reunion of brothers after a long and intense summer for both of them.
We were very happy parents to have all four of us back together again. Blessed.
So, now that we kind of have everyone settled for the fall and we are nearly finished putting our house back together after a summer of having another household's stuff in our house (think of hoarders) I promise to get back to blogging on a regular basis. There are a lot of exciting things happening in our lives right now. I will keep you updated on all of it. :)

Have a great Saturday.
Stay cool.
It's gonna be a scorcher.
Enjoy the first weekend of college football. Go Aggies!

Do you not know?
Have you not heard?
The Lord is the everlasting God, the Creator of the ends of the earth!
He gives strength to the weary and increases the power of the weak.
