Thanksgiving was wonderful. Lots of good food and lots and lots of great fellowship. It is good to be with family. How wonderful that the boys have cousins and loved ones that they enjoy so much.

Thank you God for allowing us to see the trees when they were most beautiful. What a treat that was. Interesting thought...these trees are most beautiful when their leaves are dying. I think we must be most beautiful as people to God when we die to self.

So easy it's embarrassing! Here it is: One box of Betty Crocker Red Velvet Cake mix. 1 semi sweet choc. chips 1 small Half and Half- (use half a cup) 1small carton of whipping cream 1 package of cream cheese Half cup sugar Bake cake (follow box directions), let cool and crumble. Stir together cream cheese, sugar and whipping cream with blender until smooth. Melt chocolate chips in bowl and then add half and half. Stir until smooth. Layer in trifle dish. Enjoy. It is melt in your mouth good! Ok, I know that yesterday I wrote about not eating any more sugar and I'm not. This is for YOU. I just had to give you Mom's recipe. It is so easy and so incredibly yummy. Hope that you enjoy it. It smells heavenly while cooking too. Easy Apricot Cobbler Jan McCoy 1 cup flour 1 cup sugar 2 Tbs. Baking Powder (Mix well in mixing bowl) Add 1 cup Milk and about a third cup of oil Mix well. Pour in oblong Pyrex cake pan. Heat at least 1 quart of sweetened fruit (apricots) to boiling. Pour on top of the batter. Add dollop (don't you love the word dollop?) of butter and sprinkle sugar and cinnamon on top. Bake at 350 degrees for 40 to 45 minutes until brown. Enjoy.
