He has a mouth full of breakfast
This is a Christmas present. It is vintage (very vintage) old cruiser. The little boy below who is not a little boy anymore loves everything vintage and old. He is like his older brother. Born in the wrong era I think. We are going to fix this beauty up a little bit after Christmas.
He will be SO excited.
I have a bit of a pain in my heart area right now while I type this blog entry. Time has flown by so quickly. The job that I have always wanted to have is about to come to become...for lack of better words part time. This precious boy will fly the coop like his brother has and go away to college. I have seen with his older brother that life goes on and they still need their parents, but oh, how I will miss the everyday time together. What a blessing it has been. The fulfillment of my life's dream. To be a mother. Thank you Father God.

Your posts often bring tears to my eyes. I love the birds. As I have grown older I have grown to enjoy bird watching.

I agree with Michelle! As I type I have my sick baby in my lap and tears in my eyes! I can't believe how old he is and it pains my heart to know that it will go by too quickly! Thank you for sharing your heart with us and reminding us to enjoy this stage!

So easy it's embarrassing! Here it is: One box of Betty Crocker Red Velvet Cake mix. 1 semi sweet choc. chips 1 small Half and Half- (use half a cup) 1small carton of whipping cream 1 package of cream cheese Half cup sugar Bake cake (follow box directions), let cool and crumble. Stir together cream cheese, sugar and whipping cream with blender until smooth. Melt chocolate chips in bowl and then add half and half. Stir until smooth. Layer in trifle dish. Mom's Apricot Cobbler...

It is melt in your mouth good! Ok, I know that yesterday I wrote about not eating any more sugar and I'm not. This is for YOU. I just had to give you Mom's recipe. It is so easy and so incredibly yummy. Hope that you enjoy it. It smells heavenly while cooking too. Easy Apricot Cobbler Jan McCoy 1 cup flour 1 cup sugar 2 Tbs. Baking Powder (Mix well in mixing bowl) Add 1 cup Milk and about a third cup of oil Mix well. Pour in oblong Pyrex cake pan. Heat at least 1 quart of sweetened fruit (apricots) to boiling. Pour on top of the batter. Add dollop (don't you love the word dollop?) of butter and sprinkle sugar and cinnamon on top. Bake at 350 degrees for 40 to 45 minutes until brown. Enjoy. Mr. and Mrs. Colt McCoy It was an wonderful weekend of wedding fun. From the rehearsal to wedding day luncheon to reception. I am thankful we were able to be there and share in the fun and memories. Table at Rehearsal dinner. Sweet. Bridal luncheon. Lots of smiles and laughter. Beautiful girls. Mothers, Grandmothers, Rachel and Aunts. Lots of them!
