BRAN - APPLESAUCE MUFFINS

1 1/4 c. whole wheat flour
3/4 c. crushed bran cereal
1/2 c. sugar
1 tsp. baking soda
1 tsp. cinnamon
1/2 tsp. salt
1/2 tsp. nutmeg
1 c. applesauce
1/2 c. oil
1 tsp. vanilla
2 eggs
In large bowl, combine all muffin ingredients, stirring just until ingredients are moistened. Fill greased or paper-lined baking cups 2/3 full. Bake at 400 degrees for 15-20 minutes, or until toothpick inserted in center comes out clean. Makes 12 muffins.
(These tasty muffins fill your house with the wonderful smell of Autumn...cinnamon and nutmeg.
They smell so good.)
Blessings on this touch of Fall day. Amy

At first glance I thought they were hamburgers! LOL

I should try this. I have to tell you, most things using whole wheat flour don't taste as good to me. I've even tried 1/2 white/1/2 wheat on some recipes. I need to keep on trying though!
