Everyday Blessings...

“All people are like the grass,      and all their glory is like the flowers of the field. The grass dies and the flowers fall, but the word of the Lord will live forever.”  1 Peter 1: 24-25 Camp Blue Haven, Session 1 was super this year. Our text for the week was focused on 1 Peter. Powerful words of encouragement and challenge to live our lives fully for God. To stand and avoid and fight against being infected by the world. Camp is lots of fun, but there is always and seemingly more so this year a deep, serious battle for hearts going on. There is always a very real Spiritual battle happening.  We must to wake up and see the battle and be in on it. People are dying spiritually out there. Every second.  Some care, some don't. Oh, how we want them to see Jesus.  To know His hope and redemption and His power in our lives to live life abundantly and with joy. Ephesians 5: 13-17     But the light makes all things easy...

We have been off the grid  in the mountains at camp. It was an incredibly refreshing time emotionally and spiritually. I started to say physically but- well, it's camp. It was fast and fun and busy and well at higher altitude, so physically we were a little tired. :) It was sure worth it though.  We were blessed to teach another summer 1st session at Camp Blue Haven.  I will plaster this blog with pictures and thoughts on lessons learned- tomorrow.
