Casey Burl McCoy...going to Univ. of Texas
Congratulations Case! Case McCoy has given a verbal commitment to play football for the University of Texas.
Sorry about the title Case, but you will always be that precious little smiling Casey boy to me. I can hear you singing "You are my sunshine" right now. My how you have grown up. I am amazed that our boys are all so old. We are going to have three in college and one already graduated from college when Casey gets there. We are way too young for this responsibility! ha
We are thrilled that he is going somewhere he is comfortable with and that he will be staying close to home so that Brad and Debra can see him play. It will also be nice that he already knows and has relationships with people at UT through Colt. Florida was way to far away. :)

Another McCoy headed to Texas5:21 PM Tue, Feb 10, 2009
The Colt McCoy Era will end after the 2009 season but not the family's association with Texas.
McCoy's younger brother, Case, has committed to the Longhorns, according to Brad McCoy, his father and high school coach. Case McCoy, a junior quarterback at Graham, chose between Texas and Florida, according to his father, and also strongly considered Texas A&M, among others.
This past season, he threw for 17 touchdowns and 2,200 yards. So how similar is Case to his brother, last season's Heisman runner-up?
"It's hard to tell them apart" at the same stage on film, Brad McCoy said. Then again, Colt McCoy matured greatly and gained about 30 pounds of muscle upon arriving at Texas.
