OH no! I will not be blogging for a little while until we get settled in our new home.
Blessings on my friends and family. Love you all! A little prayer for the four of us loading up and driving 3 vehicles for nearly 9 hours in the snow today would be appreciated!
I don't know if you'll remember this....but 2 years ago you had commented on my blog because you were sent an update on "Colt McCoy"....which happens to be my son's name too :)He was born at 24 weeks at the time and we had our blog about him. Anyway, he's doing great...thanks to prayers from wonderful strangers like you. Thought you might like to see a photo of him in his new Colt McCoy jersey. coltmccoy.blogspot.com
It is melt in your mouth good! Ok, I know that yesterday I wrote about not eating any more sugar and I'm not. This is for YOU. I just had to give you Mom's recipe. It is so easy and so incredibly yummy. Hope that you enjoy it. It smells heavenly while cooking too. Easy Apricot Cobbler Jan McCoy 1 cup flour 1 cup sugar 2 Tbs. Baking Powder (Mix well in mixing bowl) Add 1 cup Milk and about a third cup of oil Mix well. Pour in oblong Pyrex cake pan. Heat at least 1 quart of sweetened fruit (apricots) to boiling. Pour on top of the batter. Add dollop (don't you love the word dollop?) of butter and sprinkle sugar and cinnamon on top. Bake at 350 degrees for 40 to 45 minutes until brown. Enjoy. Blessings on your day! Amy

Stir together cream cheese, sugar and whipping cream with blender until smooth. Melt chocolate chips in bowl and then add half and half. Stir until smooth. Layer in trifle dish. Enjoy. Alaska memories. Love this fat Santa above. Thrilled with how this little wreath turned out. Happy Christmas decorating! Remember: Your family probably does not care if your house looks like something out of Southern Living. They love the traditions and old ornaments and chipped Christmas mugs and plates. Our kids sure do. It is hard when we compare what we have to other people's "things" or decorations. We are all so richly blessed. I say, just don't do it. I...
