This lovely, practically new RED couch. Have I mentioned I LOVE RED? I have a red checked couch that Mom gave me long ago sitting across from this couch in my living area. Anyway, Craig's List is a great way to find quality furniture in your area for great prices. The furniture is usually better than garage or estate sale finds. Just wanted to share a picture of two RED birds that were eating and playing in the snow a few days ago. So beautiful.
I pray your week will be a blessed and joyful one. We will be traveling to Willard's funeral this week and celebrating his life along with tears due to the fact we will just miss him so much. Please pray for a young woman named Jenny Bizaillion. She is great need of prayer. Here is her story:

Red Velvet Trifle...

So easy it's embarrassing! Here it is: One box of Betty Crocker Red Velvet Cake mix. 1 semi sweet choc. chips 1 small Half and Half- (use half a cup) 1small carton of whipping cream 1 package of cream cheese Half cup sugar Bake cake (follow box directions), let cool and crumble. Stir together cream cheese, sugar and whipping cream with blender until smooth. Melt chocolate chips in bowl and then add half and half. Stir until smooth. Layer in trifle dish. Enjoy.  Alaska memories. Love this fat Santa above. Thrilled with how this little wreath turned out. Happy Christmas decorating! Mom's Apricot Cobbler...

It is melt in your mouth good! Ok, I know that yesterday I wrote about not eating any more sugar and I'm not. This is for YOU. I just had to give you Mom's recipe. It is so easy and so incredibly yummy. Hope that you enjoy it. It smells heavenly while cooking too. Easy Apricot Cobbler Jan McCoy 1 cup flour 1 cup sugar 2 Tbs. Baking Powder (Mix well in mixing bowl) Add 1 cup Milk and about a third cup of oil Mix well. Pour in oblong Pyrex cake pan. Heat at least 1 quart of sweetened fruit (apricots) to boiling. Pour on top of the batter. Add dollop (don't you love the word dollop?) of butter and sprinkle sugar and cinnamon on top. Bake at 350 degrees for 40 to 45 minutes until brown. Enjoy.
