Blue Hydrangeas and Yummy Homemade Granola
This lovely hydrangea bush is huge and lives in our backyard. When we first moved into this home five months ago we thought it might be dead, it looked so horrible. We nursed it along and WOW...it is one gorgeous bush now. Blue hydrangeas. God is amazing. "Thank you Father for the beauty in this flower and for making it so lovely that we would woo and ahh over it."
The prettiest color of blue I have ever seen.
On to foodie things: This Yummy granola recipe my sister-in-law gave me is addicting and wonderful. Sid cannot live without it and so I have to keep it as a staple item in this kitchen. He loves to put vanilla or strawberry yogurt in a bowl and top it with the granola and eat it for breakfast or a snack. Good stuff and pretty healthy too! Recipe below. Enjoy!

(I substitute different things sometimes like: raisins and pecans)
Directions
Preheat the oven to 350 degrees F.
Toss the oats, coconut, and almonds together in a large bowl. Whisk together the oil and honey in a small bowl. Pour the liquids over the oat mixture and stir with a wooden spoon until all the oats and nuts are coated. Pour onto a 13 by 18 by 1-inch sheet pan. (Use parchment paper)

Bake, stirring occasionally with a spatula, until the mixture turns a nice, even, golden brown, about 45 minutes.
Remove the granola from the oven and allow to cool, stirring occasionally. Add the apricots, cherries, cranberries, and cashews. Store the cooled granola in an airtight container
