Thanksgiving Part 1

Good morning! These pictures are actually of the tail end of our Thanksgiving celebration. Tomorrow I will add pictures of the front end in College Station with Sid's Dad and family. We were so blessed to be able to spend time with both sides of our families. We are just SO blessed.

Always give thanks to God the Father for everything. Eph. 5:20

Thanksgiving is a time of quiet reflection...
an annual reminder that God has again, been ever so faithful.
The solid and simple things of life are brought into clear focus.
Charles R. Swindoll

This is what we enjoy the most I think. Early morning coffee sipping by the roaring fire. A good fire and good company and good coffee. What more can you ask for?
Love this big oak tree and the field of dreams beyond. The view is always changing and is quite lovely. We always see deer running across this field in the mornings.
Lucy and Chance snoozing in front of the fire. So sweet.
Thanksgiving feast. Sure missed Colt and Rachel. Yes, those are paper plates and no, I have no problem with that! :)
My fun, goofy boys. I don't think we have one picture that Wes is smiling normal in. What is normal?

The ranch house. It's not much but it feels nice and comfy and homey.
Dad...recuperating in the easy chair. SO thankful that he lived through the tractor accident. He is gaining strength and recovering nicely.
Praise the good Lord!
If everyone knew their own father as a
godly man it would be much easier for them to see God as Father,
instead of as a cosmic judge and enforcer. That may be one of our
fathers' most significant legacies, revealing to us God in his great loving glory.
Scott Morris- Thoughts about both of our Dad's.
These women are so dear to my heart.
Brad and Lucy.

Togetherness. Three rooms. Just pure fun.

Blessings on your day! I am trying to get some Christmas decorations up plus a million other regular things done today. Basketball is keeping us busy right now too. Life is moving on. Talk to you tomorrow. Love, Amy
