Dad is up and doing pretty good after his tractor accident. We were all pretty emotional and thankful that he is still here with us. He wrote a great letter to all of the grand kids about his faith and his love for them.

So, after this fun trip we came home and hosted Sid's side of the family here at our house. I will post pics of that great time tomorrow. For now, I would love to leave you with this message:

Great Pics! So happy to see your dad doing well, he looks great. I got teary just hearing that he wrote a beautiful letter to the grandkids. :)
Skype is great...so I hear, I am hoping to skype with our exchange student my folks had years ago, she lives in Denmark and just had her first baby...I hope to see them soon!

What a blessings...what a wonderful family heritage. I laugh at the pictures of all the boys...since I have five of my own, it is just such a boys world.

So easy it's embarrassing! Here it is: One box of Betty Crocker Red Velvet Cake mix. 1 semi sweet choc. chips 1 small Half and Half- (use half a cup) 1small carton of whipping cream 1 package of cream cheese Half cup sugar Bake cake (follow box directions), let cool and crumble. Stir together cream cheese, sugar and whipping cream with blender until smooth. Melt chocolate chips in bowl and then add half and half. Stir until smooth. Layer in trifle dish. Mom's Apricot Cobbler...

It is melt in your mouth good! Ok, I know that yesterday I wrote about not eating any more sugar and I'm not. This is for YOU. I just had to give you Mom's recipe. It is so easy and so incredibly yummy. Hope that you enjoy it. It smells heavenly while cooking too. Easy Apricot Cobbler Jan McCoy 1 cup flour 1 cup sugar 2 Tbs. Baking Powder (Mix well in mixing bowl) Add 1 cup Milk and about a third cup of oil Mix well. Pour in oblong Pyrex cake pan. Heat at least 1 quart of sweetened fruit (apricots) to boiling. Pour on top of the batter. Add dollop (don't you love the word dollop?) of butter and sprinkle sugar and cinnamon on top. Bake at 350 degrees for 40 to 45 minutes until brown. Enjoy. Mr. and Mrs. Colt McCoy It was an wonderful weekend of wedding fun. From the rehearsal to wedding day luncheon to reception. I am thankful we were able to be there and share in the fun and memories. Table at Rehearsal dinner. Sweet. Bridal luncheon. Lots of smiles and laughter. Beautiful girls. Mothers, Grandmothers, Rachel and Aunts. Lots of them! Debra and her sweet sisters and sisters in law's Austin My goofy boys. They make me smile. They were waiting for two hours for the wedding. More goofy, sweet boys. Brad and Dick and Tammy. Love you guys so much. Isn't the flower girl precious? They put pictures of the bride and groom's parents and grandparent's wedding cake pictures beside the cake. Such a sweet setting and idea.
