West Texas Snow...

We are shivering here in East Texas with only rain while our folks in West Texas got this beautiful snow...lucky!!

Job 38: 22-30
“Have you entered the
storehouses of the snow
or seen the storehouses of the hail,
which I reserve for times of trouble,
for days of war and battle?
What is the way to the place where the lightning is dispersed,
or the place where the east winds are scattered over the earth?
Who cuts a channel for the torrents of rain,
and a path for the thunderstorm,
to water a land where no one lives,
an uninhabited desert,
to satisfy a desolate wasteland
and make it sprout with grass?
Does the rain have a father?
Who fathers the drops of dew?
From whose womb comes the ice?
Who gives birth to the frost from the heavens
when the waters become hard as stone,
when the surface of the deep is frozen?

Also...this is cool...Will talked a little with Gov. Perry at an Aggie basketball game a few nights ago. My father in law took this picture. Sweet.

Thought for the day courtesy of Will Walker:

Most men die at age 27...
we just bury them at age 72- Mark Twain

Blessings! I hope you are enjoying a hot cup of something warm,
a crackling fire and good fellowship with those you love!

For some reason I thought you were from Abilene. But you're on my side of the state? Yes, I'm glad we did not get too much snow accumulation today. That WIND is BRRRisk enough!
Oh you got snow...I don't think you got it when we did in January...isn't it pretty! The grocery stores here were a mad house yesterday...we will be at record lows at night...I will share my pictures on Thursday.
How fun for you son....great picture

We got quite a bit of snow..or so it seems, the wind is blowing it all around and hard to tell exactly how much we got...probably about 4-5 inches?
BITTER COLD here. Not happy with that but so thankful for the moisture. I hope tomorrow to get some pics. Stay warm!
