Oh My Goodness...

My computer died about six days ago. I don't know what a motherboard is but ours died. Ouch. Not a cheap little computer fix but better than buying a new computer. By the way, this morning our dryer died TOO. I am on my way to the laundry mat. Oh my goodness. Talk to you soon. Blessings! Amy

That is a lot to deal with all at once. On the occasions I have used laundry mats I was happy that it could all go in at once. A benefit I don't have here at home...but the inconvenience and cost always made me happy to begin doing it here again.

a few weeks ago I had a virus on my computer, then blogger went nuts, then yesterday my computer died...today my hubs went and bought me a new MacbookAir. :) I feel your pain!

It is melt in your mouth good! Ok, I know that yesterday I wrote about not eating any more sugar and I'm not. This is for YOU. I just had to give you Mom's recipe. It is so easy and so incredibly yummy. Hope that you enjoy it. It smells heavenly while cooking too. Easy Apricot Cobbler Jan McCoy 1 cup flour 1 cup sugar 2 Tbs. Baking Powder (Mix well in mixing bowl) Add 1 cup Milk and about a third cup of oil Mix well. Pour in oblong Pyrex cake pan. Heat at least 1 quart of sweetened fruit (apricots) to boiling. Pour on top of the batter. Add dollop (don't you love the word dollop?) of butter and sprinkle sugar and cinnamon on top. Bake at 350 degrees for 40 to 45 minutes until brown. Enjoy. Red Velvet Trifle...

So easy it's embarrassing! Here it is: One box of Betty Crocker Red Velvet Cake mix. 1 semi sweet choc. chips 1 small Half and Half- (use half a cup) 1small carton of whipping cream 1 package of cream cheese Half cup sugar Bake cake (follow box directions), let cool and crumble. Stir together cream cheese, sugar and whipping cream with blender until smooth. Melt chocolate chips in bowl and then add half and half. Stir until smooth. Layer in trifle dish.
