Oh What A Week

Hey.
It's been a long while. I was trying to remember when it was I started this blog waaaaaaaay back many years ago. I believe it's been live over 10 years. I used to write a lot and update life happenings at least every few weeks. Life happenings have taken over and time to sit in front of the computer has been slim. Anyway, good to say hi again.

We have had quite a week. Our oldest son and hiwife had a baby boy on Monday. We have been enjoying their two sweet girlies for the past 4 and 2 years. I never knew what I was missing being around little girls. Such drama and such rich deep love. I am the most blessed of Nana's.

Back to our sweet little boy grandson.  He has been prayed over especially hard the last few months. They have known for a while that he has something wrong with one of his kidneys. There is a lot of stress around a pregnancy when you know something is not right and it makes you question if there might be more wrong.  Indeed, his left kidney is showing that it is non functioning and that there are two large cysts that have filled it up. The pediatric urologist says that it will eventually dry up and go away and the other kidney will take over and he will be fine. We are counting on that and praying God will bless it to be so.  Our bodies are amazing. He seems absolutely perfect to us and we are thankful.

Jefe and and granddaughter number one waiting patiently on little brother on Monday.
Littlest sister is tired of waiting.

I prayed this prayer and many others during the time God was growing this little boy inside his mama. Even if things had turned out worse I pray I always believe and trust in God's protection and deliverance however He sees fit. I am for sure praising Him for His mercy.
The little chunker

We think he has his Jefe's eyes.

Proud and helpful big sister.
This one is a little mama bird. She LOVES her baby.

These two are the most beautiful of people. They are sweethearts and wonderful parents. Praying blessings over their growing family.

James I:17 Every good and perfect gift is from above, coming down from the Father of the heavenly lights, who does not change like shifting shadows. He chose to give us birth through the word of truth, that we might be a kind of first fruits of all he created.

Blessings! Amy
