I have been asked by a few friends to send them this virus protocol. Hey. I t's been a long while. I was trying to remember when it was I started this blog waaaaaaaay back many years ago. I believe it's been live over 10 years. I used to write a lot and update life happenings at least every few weeks. Life happenings have taken over and time to sit in front of the computer has been slim. Anyway, good to say hi again.  We have had quite a week. Our oldest son and hi s  wi fe had a baby boy on Monday. We have been enjoying their two sweet girlies for the past 4 and 2 years. I never knew what I was missing being around little girls. Such drama and such rich deep love. I remember the first time I spied the book "The Lion the Witch and the Wardrobe." It was in the library at Taylor Elementary School and I was in the sixth grade. The cover looked interesting and I fell in love with the fantasy and beauty of it. At the time I had no idea that the story was a loosely telling of the story of Jesus and morals and living by the truth of God.  I can't count the times I have read it sense then for myself, for the love of it and for our boys and now our grandchildren. So thankful for The Chronicles of Narnia. We just remodeled and moved into an older home with a sweet old staircase and a few stained glass windows here and there. The moment I stepped through the front door in spite of the major renovations that needed to be done I fell in love. The old place just had character and lots of heart.  I feel this home has sweet whimsy. I made a slow enjoyable road trip a few weeks ago back to Las Vegas, NM to CBH.  First stop was in Mighty Merk to see my sweet folks. It's always a pleasure to be out on their land and have room to roam around in.  Dad is 85 and is still taking care of the farm and chickens and cows not only on his farm but another ranch an hour or so away.  He is an inspiration and a larger than life fellow to me.  My mama is pretty special also. :) There were several coffee stops on this road trip but one of my favorites was in Clovis, NM. Check it out if you are ever going through there. So good. Blackwater Coffee Co. Another favorite stop is in a little spot in the road in Taiban, New Mexico. There is really nothing there much except this sweet structure sitting off of the right side of the road. The best week of the year and especially of the summer has come and gone again so very fast.  Having the blessing and privilege to be a teacher at CBH another summer is so special to us. A little bit of heaven on earth.  The fact is that our kids having been campers for many summers and then counselors and now teachers and camp photographers has been spiritually life changing and molding and beautiful. (Also, our oldest met his wife there so that is for sure a great blessing.) We are so thankful.  Choosing to send your kids to Christian camps and especially this one is a decision that we as parents will never regret and I will always and forever give praise to God for the opportunity. We had a special group of campers in our class this summer. They love each other well, and even though they struggle with the hard things of life, they have warrior hearts and I know that they will live for Him and bring other people to heaven with them.
